Does anyone have these really intense feelings for someone in their life?

I fell madly in love with someone and I've been with them since December. You're probably thinking December that's only three months ago!! Well I loved him from the moment I saw him in the cafeteria at school but I couldn't say anything mind you this was well over a year ago and when I say that people wonder why I couldn't say anything well here's why he's older than me and some people are like so what. Well he's also my friends older brother and if I went there I could lose my friendship with her and her friendship means a lot to me. She joked to both of us that we should date each other and we did end up dating and now because of it our friendship is kinda rocky. But I want her to know I am always gonna be here for her. She is an amazing person to just be around but back to my boyfriend. Some people say you're only sixteen you don't know the definition of love. Well the online definition of love is "An intense feeling of deep affection." Well I don't like that definition one bit it doesn't say anything about a relationship or one's feelings. Love isn't only deep affection. It goes deeper than that. For me love is what pushes you to be better for that one person who means the world to you. This person you could go days or even weeks without talking to them and the only thing you think about is them in every waking moment. I love him with all my heart and I only have room for him. He's one of the only people I can truly be myself with no matter how broken I might be he's there and somehow saying all the things I need to hear. I never thought he would ask me out but he did and I didn't hesitate I said yes immediately and I haven't regretted it since. Yes I'm only sixteen but when you love someone like I love him. You just know that you want to spend the rest of your life with them and saying how I feel is always hard for me so I wrote everything down and gave it to him. I told him when I'm eighteen I don't want to wait a second longer than I have to I want to marry him. So now I'm just waiting on a response. Until then I'm going to keep writing on here. Sorry this is a lot to read but I just want to share how I feel.
